'Now More Than Ever'
Jan 8-10, 2011
at Biltmore Hotel, Phoenix, U.S.A.
Presented by The Critical Illness Insurance Centre, 7WCIIC is the industry leading conference series. Providing important sales and industry information agents, brokers and managers need to identify the challenges and leverage opportunities the critical illness insurance market offers.
The Critical Illness Insurance Centre has been promoting and organizing WCIIC events for close to a decade. Attendees receive industry-specific instruction and participate in critical illness insurance focused strategy sessions that help agents, brokers and support staff better communicate CI’s benefits and solutions to their company and customers.
The power of critical illness insurance to protect clients, their families and alleviate the financial burden of a critical illness is a central theme of the WCIIC series. Attendees learn about: CI plan design; CI regulatory issues; selling and marketing strategies; sales conversion methods; and overall industry and global trends.
Critical Illness Insurance Centre founder and President Alphonso Franco is the widely-heralded and greatly-respected organizer of WCIIC. “While the conference focuses on Critical Illness Insurance, it also features speakers with backgrounds in life insurance, LTC, and disability,” explains Franco. “All WCIIC events feature dedicated speakers from all over the world who believe in Critical Illness Insurance and either successfully sell the product or are intimately involved with it in some way. Their contributions of shared expertise guarantee value-packed conferences.”
Franco is particularly proud of the fact that Dr. Marius Barnard will feature prominently in the 2011 event. Dr. Barnard assisted his brother Christiaan during the first successful heart transplant. While performing life-saving operations in South Africa, Dr. Barnard found it difficult to accept that his patients were, in many cases, unable to return to employment for health reasons, and that their families often suffered tremendous financial hardships. In 1983, Dr. Barnard developed the world’s first Critical Illness Insurance (CII) policy in conjunction with an insurance company in South Africa. The product is now available in many countries around the world. In recent years, through various insurance companies, CII has been introduced in Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
At 7WCIIC, Dr. Barnard will present the motivating and inspiring story of his lifelong journey from missionary’s son to founding father and constant promoter of Critical Illness Insurance.
